Undergraduate Instrumental analysis

Undergraduate Instrumental analysis by James W. Robinson, Eileen M. Skell Frame and George M. Frame II

Call Number: QD79.I5 R6 2005

The sixth edition of this undergraduate text has been completely rewritten and redesigned, with a much greater focus on chromatography and mass spectrometry. In order to add additional material the chapters are no longer stand-alone. Novel to the text is the combination of instrumental analysis with organic spectral interpretation of infrared, nuclear magnetic resonance, and molecular spectrosopy. In addition, NMR has been refocused on Fourier Transform-NMR and includes treatment of 13C and SD NMR spectral interpretation. Spreadsheets are included with the examples for carrying out calculations. The text is designed for students who have no background in analytical chemistry, calculus, physics, or physical chemistry
